Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My ex and I are divorced and share custody of a seven year old daughter. I was laid off from my job March 2008 and after a year I could not find a job. In April of 2009 I started my MBA in finance and anticipate graduation in September 2010. When I graduate I would like to move from New Jersey to Florida to be near my parents and start a new life with my new husband. I know my ex will contest the move. What are my options.

You should see an attorney probably around June of 2010.

You will have to hire an attorney to apply to the Court for an order authorizing your moving to Florida. You should apply five months before the actual move because your motion may require

live testimony in a hearing after the motion is heard so that the judge can hear you and the father testify.

Call me if you like.
