To protect yourself your present deed or a deed which you both sign, now, must make you and he joint tenants with the right of survivorship, meaning that what he owns automatically becomes your, so far as the house is concerned. You should see a real estate attorney immediately and consult with him about insuring that the survivor gets the entire house.
