Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Want to move with the baby from my boyfriend

I currently live with my boyfriend, my (not his) 13 yearold and our 8 month old baby (whom I still breastfeed). He has signed the paternity papers when she was born and is on the birth cert. My job is relocating to PA in 10 days. Originally we were planning to move together, but as he was getting more verbally abusive to me and pretty mean to my older daughter I realized that I can't live with him any longer - and intend to move without him. I do not want to interfere with his father rights, i will accomodate visitations etc but I can't leave my baby behind. He says that either he comes with us or the baby stays with him. What should I do considering I have so little time

You need to find and hire a decent divorce attorney. You have options, and you do NOT need to simply agree to take him with you. Before crossing out of New Jersey with the baby, I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you speak to an attorney.
