Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Me and my wife work in the USA. We are not citizens. We got married in India in 2008. We lived together for 9 months and we are living separated since last 16 months. We have nothing in common...absolutely nothing. All our monetary interests have already been sorted. I'm not sure if my wife wants a divorce, but I want. How can I proceed. We both live in NJ.

The only jurisdiction requirement for filing for a divorce in New Jersey is that one of you be a resident for at least a year prior to the filing of the complaint for divorce.

Call me if you like.

Looks like you can file in New Jersey and have it over quickly especially if you know where she lives.

We have a number of lawyers here who could assist you. Please call me for an appointment if you are interested.
