Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

two twice in different division of special civil, witout appealing first loss.

Landlord sued for back rent and possession, and lost. That was in special civil LT, instead of appealing he is suing me again for same exact thing same time period in Special Civil different division. How can he do that without appealing? There is a Judgment on this cause of action identical subject matter. HE is trying to get a judgment he likes, what can I do? I am going through hell. Help please?

I say it time and time again, the law is that a case in the landlord tenant division is not binding on a subsequent action between the parties since the issue in an eviction case is possession of the premises. Welcome to he** as you say in your post. Bruce
