If you were injured, you can unless she was a coworker during work hours. Call me asap
This firm has handled cases against DYFS in the past. It is possible you might be able to make a claim. We'd need additional information in order to evaluate your potential claim. Please feel free to contact me or any of my partners at the Blume Goldfaden Firm via the profile information provided on this site. We look forward to speaking with you, and will assist you in any way we can.

You must serve a notice of claim on DYFS within 90 days following the occurrence of the accident to preserve your right to sue a state entity. Have a lawyer do this for you.
The most important thing is that you must provide notice promptly. You likely have a claim. Give our offices a call--no charge for consultation.
