Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

After years of waiting, my Personal Injury Case was finally heard in court and settled in my favor at the beginning of September 2012. I Thought I would have received the settlement payment by This time. Now, after almost 3 months after settlement, what could Possibly be holding this up ? Isn't there some kind of Law requiring an insurance company to pay up in a reasonable time?
