Legal Question in Social Security Law in New Jersey

Child support and social security

My son had a child six months ago with a woman who had left the Army with veterans disability benefits. When he and she made out their financial disclosure forms she did not mention Social Security payments, but it has come to our attention that she should have those benefits for herself and the child. What could be the penaly in NJ for not fully disclosing all assets?

Re: Child support and social security

1. You should re-post the child support/disclosure question in that catagory.

2. It appears from your statement that she does not yet have an award for Social Security and is not yet receiving a cash benefit. If that's the case, there is no income to disclose. Social Security has a total disability standard and its rules are differant than the VA.
