Do drunk driving laws apply to operators of bicycles ?

No. DWI laws apply to motor vehicles only, and do not apply to vehicles propeled by muscular power.

NJSA 39:4-50 Driving While Intoxicated covers only persons who operate a motor vehicle. A Bicycle (without a motor) is not considered a motor vehicle.
