Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey
I received a summons for driving on a closed road. I moved the barricade other cars followed behind me. I pulled up to the downed perhaps live power line and asked the officer if it was alright to drive through. Received summons 150 dollars am told and court costs. Is this all I should expect?

Go to court and fight it!
Talk to the Prosecutor and try to get it downgraded or dismissed. Check on point possibilities with Motor Vehicles. You might need a lawyer.

There are no points for this ticket, I believe that it is just a fine. check on line but I am pretty sure that it does not carry M V points.
