Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Jersey

i was injured on 12/6/07 had no problem with wc. for rotator cuff tear in left shoulder & herniated disk in neck.after 2 surgeries for shoulder & p/t i finally returned to work on 11/7/07.i reinjured my left shoulder after 1 week back to work also my right shoulder & neck this time went back to wc doctor next day & told him of my injuries. he said i have to get a fce. i went to fce on 12/19/07 report states i could go back to work with restrictions.i told the dr. that i can not go back to work because of my type of work & my other injury to right shoulder & neck. seems he didn't care & said i would have to file another claim with wc. & i reached full mmi & discharged me.my attorney filed a claim petition.can you tell me about how long this will take & whats involved?
