Legal Question in Construction Law in New York
Breach of construction contract
Someone told me that a personal judgement is stronger than a mechnics lein, is this so? If so ,how does one go about placing one?

Re: Breach of construction contract
A lien may only be enforced by a Judgment. To obtain a judgment, you would have to commence an action by service of a summons and complaint.
