Trying to get brother released from state hospital

How would our family go about getting a lawyer to look into a case? Looking for an appellate lawyer who could assist us in getting brother released from a maximun=m security state hospital to a civil hospital. He has been there for eight going on nine years, kept very overmmedicated and we need help in getting him out. They say he isa sexual deviant?

Under the new sexual offender law, the prosecutor has to start a proceeding to keep your brother incarcerated. It is a very new procedure. They may try to lock him up for the rest of his life.

He needs a lawyer now. You would need a doctor - psychiatrist - psychologist, to go head to head with their psychiatric team.

You also need a lawyer who is familiar with psychiatric defenses/offenses in order to have your brother released.

It does involve a trial.

I have more than 35 years of experience, and was an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Buffalo Medical School, and have been involved in 100's of psychiatric cases.
