Suspected of making threats

I have been accused of making threats of double homocide and suicide, my former girlfriend has made the accusations. She has a history of mental illness. There is currently no evidence, I surrendered my shotgun to the police as a show of cooperation. What should I do?

Re: Suspected of making threats

First, and foremost, do not make any statements to the police or ANYONE else beyond what you have done already. Secondly, you should think about consulting with an attorney ASAP about the situation to see where everything is headed. Have you formally been charged? Arraigned?
