Legal Question in Family Law in New York

i have a 2 year old daughter whos father in in jail for 11 years..She has never had a relationship with her father.my husband has tooken care of her since she has been a baby.i also have full custody of her.My husband plans on adopting her.I want to know is there anyway that i can terminate my daughter fathers parental rights.i also want to state that my daughters fathers parents took me to court and they have visitation for one day a month for 5 hours.

With out the child's father consenting, you will have an almost impossible time terminating his parental rights. You will have to demonstrate that it is in the best interests of the child to terminate and that is an almost impossible mountain to scale.
