enforcement of court ordered child support and judgment

i was granted an award of child support along with a judgment for past arrears. i live in georgia and the respondent lives in new york. how do i collect my child support and judgment from new york state. it appears that child support enforcement in new york cannot help me unless the order is amended to have the money paid directly to support enforcement. the judge will not amend the order. please help.

If your divorce was granted in Georgia, you can file a Contempt of Court action in the same county that granted the divorce. Then you will have to send the summons, etc. to the Sheriff or Marshall or whatever in the county of his residence.
