Can I represent my boyfriend in a custody battle

My boyfriend has been going through years of hassle in divorce and custody I want to go become an attorney because I'm fascinated with law and help people like him get treated fairly

Great idea, being a lawyer is a great career and helping people is very rewarding.

I doubt however you would ever really want to represent your boyfriend as the conflict of interest would probably be uncomfortable. You could however be a major factor in helping the lawyer you chose get his job done.
