Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

My brother has stuff stored in my garage and hasn't done anything with it in two years. He doesn't pay me any rent or storage. Do I have right to do what I please with it, or am I stuck storing it.

Send a certified letter to your brother demanding that he removes his belongings within 30 days or otherwise you will deem the property abandoned. Wait 30 days after delivery of the letter and then you may remove the property.
