Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York

2 questions. I parked in Brooklyn ny on Tuesday July 11, 2017 right under an alternate parking sign Wednesday 830 am - 10 am The traffic agent gave me a ticket for parking in a construction zone no parking any time This sign was about 100 feet up the block. I went to submit evidence of conflicting signs on nyc website and found it said hearing complete. I had never tried to fight this ticket and I have no idea who did. I thought conflicting sign is easy to win so I sent in an appeal. Today I got a letter from the appeal board that they found no reason to reverse the first decision. Is there any way I can find out who tried to fight the ticket originally and what was presented as evidence. To me it sounds like fraud. Second, based on the appeal decision is there no defense of conflicting signs? Thank you Tzvi Klitnick [email protected]

Being that it sounds like you already did the appeal for this parking ticket, I presume that you already lost the appeal. This is the end of the administrative procedure. Normally the only option is an article 78, which under the circumstances would not be a viable option from an economic point of view.
