Legal Question in Traffic Law in New York
How to file a corum nobis in NY for traffic tickets
I need to file a corum nobis to reopen a traffic ticket. The judge told me I had to do this by myself. Where do I start? how do I obtain the paperwork? Thanks

You follow the instructions as given in the CPL section 40.40
You can and should probably let a lawyer do it for you. The court may not deny you the right to an attorney of your chosing, but it doesn't have to appoint one for you so you have to hire one yourself.
The motion is filed in the court that issued the judgment being challenged. It can then be appealed by permission of the appellate court.
Good luck
