Does paying bail mean you were arrested
My friend was arrested and i wanted to know that if i had to pay a bail to get him out of jail does that mean that he was arrested?

This SIMPLE ANSWER IS THIS...JAIL=ARREST. But is does not mean guilt until a trial or plea bargain.
