Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
Does a will have to be probated first before anyone is entitled to see a copy of it? My mom passed away 2 days ago, I am the executor of my mom's estate and already my brother is asking to see a copy of the will. I haven't even gotten through the funeral yet!
It may be his right, but I cannot deal with that now.

It is up to you what you want to do.
If you think there is going to be a problem, you might consider probating the will as soon as possible.
