My father recently passed away in long Beach, California. He lived in Long Beach for over 40 years. How can i find out if there was a Will?

Check with the county where your father resided at the time of his death and see if an estate was probated for him. You do not indicate when your father died. I would wait at least 30 days after his death. If that time haspassed, then you can call.
You may need the assistance of a probate attorney in California, not North Carolina.
