Quit Claim Deed

I was divorced 8 years ago and ''quit

claimed'' our house to him. Since then he

has been late on the mortgage and has

come close to foreclosure. This is ruining

my credit. Is there any way , other than him

refinancing, to get my name off of the

mortgage ?

Only if the bank agreed to take your name off of the mortgage. This is highly unlikely.
