Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio
Need Advice ASAP!!!
I had a perscription of xanax stolen from me at a party in Chesterland and in oder to get a re-fill i had to make out a police report. I put someone's name in the report who was already in jail who i had thought i was with but i was very drunk at this party i cannot remember where in chesterland i was or anyone who i was with. Due to that mistake of putting someone's name who isnt around in the statement i have been asked to appear in court on these charges and the city will not issue me a public defender because this is only an araignment. What should I do?

Plead not guilty and if you qualify for a public defender, the court should appoint one for you at that time.
