Adoption biological father unknown

If a recently married woman's husband wants to adopt her child in the state of Ohio and the biological father is unknown will there be any legal problems? Thank you.

You will have to complete an affidavit that you did not know who the father of the child is and you will have to publish the adoption otherwise there should be no other problems except for passing the home visit. Keep in mind that there is tons of paperwork invilved in an adoption.
