safety deposit box

During a divorce it is discovered that one party has been stealing from the store jointly owned. one party discovers a safety deposit key with the name of the bank filed off, but recognizes the key belongs to a specific bank. Can the safety deposit box be frozen instataneously, or in some way be inspected by the court to view and record the contents, to see if stolen money has been stored there?

Depends on the county you are in. If in Cuyahoga, yes. Other counties may require a bit more work. Call if you have any questions. Steve Daray 440.835.8200
