Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Legal gaurdianship

My wife is residental over her daughter. Her daughter wants to live with her father. We went to his lauyers office to sighn the papers thinking we were sighning everything the legal gaurdianship and also the paper work that showed her stuff such as weekends vacations and child support. But the lauyer only had the custody papers ready not anything else. Claiming this was more importent so she can get enrolled in school. That the othere papers would be done at the end of the week. I told my wife not to sighn anythinf until everything is there. But this might cause a delay in here starting in her new school. My wife is upset and here daughter and ex husband are very angry. Did I do the right thing or was sighning that paper not a big deal.

Re: Legal gaurdianship

Your wife needs to be the residential parent for her daughter to attend school in your wife's system. If this is the documents she and her ex-husband signed, why is she upset?
