Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio
Loan
year...Late 1998.I purchased 3 tickets for a friend($108.00) to an event with the understanding that I would be paid in a reasonable amount of time.I was never paid.I later lent this friend,(who was going through very hard times)money for her car insurance,($160.00)with the understanding that she would pay me when she could .She paid me $20.00 in March of `99& nothing after that.Is there anything I can do?Both agreements were verbal.

Re: Loan
As long as the amount is not over $500 you don't need anything in writing. Of course, in small claims court your credibility will be measured against the word of the person you loaned the money to.
Call me directly if you want.
