Assuming that you are currently married to the spouse who originally sponsored you for permanent residency and assuming that you have committed no crimes, my attorney fee is $750 and the USCIS filing fee is $545. The key is to provide sufficient documentation to show that you have a real marriage. If you do not provide enough evidence, there will be a USCIS interview. It usually takes 6 months for USCIS to process.

If you fail to timely file (in the 90 days prior to your expiration) you will need to show good cause and circumstances that kept you from filing. In any event, you should consider hiring an attorney to represent you through this process. Conditional residency cases can be tricky depending on the underlying factual circumstances.
