Legal Question in Military Law in Oklahoma
Military Retirement
I am a diabetic/asthmatic and found unfit to reenlist by the Army Reserve Medical Board. They (my unit) gave me a Gen. Discharge unknown to me and should have been retired. Is this a good case for the ADRB/Review Board for Correction of Military Records? Please respond as I am going before the Board in 2 weeks.

Re: Military Retirement
Not sure why you would get a General, as opposed to an Honorable discharge, if discharged for medical reasons.
The question about the medical condition is more complex.
Check with your local VA Hospital. They may be able to give the name of an attorney in your area who specializes in medical discharge cases. They can be complex.
