Legal Question in Business Law in Pennsylvania

Commerical Lease Question

I have 2 1/2 years left on a 5 yr lease. I lost a key employee, Had to close for a few weeks, ran out of money! My landlord came in on the 6th of the month when the lease was due and put a For Rent sign in the window, I still have 3 days to pay before a late fee kicks in .At that point I was still looking for money and employees, I found them both, but meanwhile, he's been showing the property and told me to get my stuff out. I did, I'm only 10 days late now. Can I move my stuff back in? Did he violate my lease by letting himself in and putting up the sign? I am lost and don't know where to turn. I put alot into my business and don't want to lose it.

Re: Commerical Lease Question

A landlord is not allowed to come in and force a tenant out without a legal action being filed. If a tenant voluntarily surrenders the property, a legal action is unnecessary. Suggest you obtain legal counsel. Gerald Hershenson Esq. 215-579-9390
