Can i get held in contemp for not sending my son with his father even thought i suspect abuse and he's missing most of his visitations?

It is possible that you would be held in contempt for this. The proper way to handle this situation is to file a petition to modify the custody order. If the situation is emergent and you can't await a court's decision on the petition to modify, then a petition for special relief should be filed.
