Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania
My husband and I have been separated for a few years, although not legally separated. I am covered under his medical plan and per the rules of the LEHB (Law Enforcement Health Benefits), I can't be removed until we are divorced. Per the terms of the child support agreement, he is required to cover the medical insurance for our daughters. He is mad because I filed for child support and therefore 1) will not sign the coordination of benefits form and 2) will not give me the new medical cards (LEHB will only mail the cards to his address). Because he will not sign the form, my medical claims were being denied and my kid's bills will also be denied. I have been asking for the cards/form to be signed since January (he just ignores me). I have already contacted LEHB to show them proof that I don't have other medical insurance and they agreed to pay the current outstanding bills but that was a one time/short term solution. How can I resolve this problem? Please advise. Thanks.

It will be resolved at the DRO hearing. He's going to be ordered to provide health insurance and cooperate on the health care costs not covered by insurance.
