Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Pre and post marital home ownership

If a fiance purchased a home for him and his future wife and had only his name on the deed, will she still own half of the home after they get married without having her name added to the deed? thank you

Re: Pre and post marital home ownership

No.

To do that he will have to execute a new deed. Generally a quitclaim deed. He will be the grantor and and he and his wife. He shouldn't do this till after they are married then they will hold the property as Tenants of the Entirety. A form of joint ownership for married couples.
