Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Hello, I would like to no if it's necessary for me to retain an attorney in reference to money that is due to me in reference to my sons fatal accident at his job(wrongful death lawsuit) that my daughter in law is fighting me for to keep for herself. Per documents that I have, the money is divided to her and the live parents. My daughter law and her attorney want me to sign over my money to her as a gift. I have declined sevaral time and it's been 3 years and they wont release my money to me.
