Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

I just got a notice of a parking citation on a car my son uses at college, which is in my name. When I pay the ticket will the points go on my record? Is there any way I can prevent this?

There are no points involved in a parking citation. Pay the fine and don't worry about it.
