Legal Question in Family Law in Philippines

Family

We had a meeting in our house to settle the misunderstanding with some of the members. The Meeting was recorded by video. There were threats happened during the Meeting. The question is should I show to the authorities the video and have it recorded in the police book for future reference in case untoward incident happen? I need your advice urgently.

You might be referring to a police blotter. Police blotter would be useful should you finally decide to file a case. Problem however is that if you would like to file a case base on the 'threat' there is a precriptive period for the filing. As such, even if you have a police blotter but the filing comes after the prescriptive period, then it owuld be useless. Thanks
