Judgements
Is there a way to handle judgements that you had placed against you during a time of prolonged illness some of which you didn't know you had?

Re: Judgements
In general, you can challenge a judgment that was entered against you without any notice to you on those grounds by filing a motion to set aside default judgment. You will have to be able to prove, however, that you didn't get notice - that you weren't served properly. If the plaintiff in the case has a service affidavit, that will probably rebut the defendant's testimony that s/he didn't receive notice. Talk to a lawyer, and take whatever documentation you have received with you when you go see the lawyer.
