bankruptcy over family court

if a person was designated as responsible for an automobile debt in a divorce decree and the automobile has been repossessed and if that person files bankruptcy can the other party take them to court for contempt of the divorce proceedings?

Re: bankruptcy over family court

Yes. Being found in contempt of court is quite simple in most cases. If the court orders a person to do something and they do not do it, then they did not follow the court order and can be held in contempt of court.
