Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina
My son and his ex have joint custody of their daughter with no primary listed. My son has his daughter for one week and his ex has her the next week. My granddaughter reported to my son that the mother's boyfriend sexually abused her. DSS has removed her from her mother's home, but did not place her to my son. They placed her with my son's ex's mother on the weeks my son does not have her and is allowing the mother to have supervised visits. The mother and the other grandmother do not support what my granddaughter said about the boyfriend. They have even told her to stop lying. What can my son do until DSS finishes their investigation?
