Rental Property

We are renting a house and need to repair the roof. We are unable to locate the landlord to approve the repair. The land lord has moved and not given a forwarding phone number. Can we deduct this off the rent?

How do you pay the rent if no contact info for LL?

Send FedX letter re: reapair & make SURE you get at least 3 estimates before proceeding, otherwise you could be in breach and get evicted.
