Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
probation reinstated
I violated my probation, I made some bad choices and now I am making every effort to change my life. I am going back to school, I am clean and sober and I have two kids I am raising alone because both or their fathers are in jail. Is there a way I can get my probation reinstated without going back to jail and leaving my children and school behind?

Re: probation reinstated
What will happen depends greatly on your probation officer and the prosecutor assigned to your case. Their decision will depend on why your probation is being violated. However, the final decision is up to the judge. A good defense lawyer will be able to help you present your case to the judge.
