Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Motion to Transfer & Motion to Modify Child Support
I have recently been served 2 Motions to Transfer and Modify Child Support from my Ex-husband. If I have reasons and possibly withnesses as proof that he has falsify his income to a lower amount in order to reduce his child support, what are my options? Also, I didnot include some of the assets in the divorce,as they were part of his family business and we were named as officers-what can I do about those? Furthermore, in the motion, he asked that I pay for his attorney's fees along with making mofifications in regards to our daughter. What are my rights. He forfeithed his rights to have an attorney in our divorce as it was an amicable situation. I really need to have some back up plans to protect my child's interests as I suspect that this action was prompted by his current wife.

Re: Motion to Transfer & Motion to Modify Child Support
You need to hire an attorney to assist you.
The divorce is final so you cannot go back and discuss the property division.
If his income has gone down or he's had other children, then his child support can be reduced. He will have to produce tax returns for the past 2 years and current paystubs.
You definately need an attorney to represent your interests.
Good luck!
