Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Do I have to withdraw all my money from the bank for divorce?

Hi lawyers. My wife and I agree to divorce that's why I started filling out (Divorce Set 1 - Uncontested, No Minor Children, No Real Property) for my divorce. I have saved a little bit of money around ($1000) since we separated 5 months ago, this is my own money, I made it since she left me. I really want to keep my own money, because I made it, can I withdraw all money from my bank? I'm worried because I'm filling out Affidavit of Indigency form. May I have your advices please, thank you.

Nothing prevents you from withdrawing money from the bank.

The form that you're using for an affidavit of indigency probably requires you to disclose any money that you have, whether it's in a bank or in your back pocket.
