Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was involved in a car accident on friday January 15, 2010. I was stop at red light and getting to turn left when a elder lady takes a wide turn right hittng me once, then she backup hitting a second time and then backup once again and hitting me a third time and then drove off. I saw here turn and brace my feet on the brake and side board and could not believe my eyes when she hit mine vehicles the damage that was done was to drivers side passage door. My question is since she left the scene is it possible that I can get a higher compensation and I did go to the E.R and the diagnois was a knee sprain aggraviting my military disability?
