Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

Transfused with infected blood

I was exposed to HCV contaminated blood during a heart by pass surgery in 1999. The hospital informed by registered letter 2-1-01. What are my options ? What are their liabilities ?

Re: Transfused with infected blood

You will have to deal with Statute of Limitations. This can likely be overcome because the hospital knew or should have known and you had no way to know. I would need to know the present effects. Your claim would be based upon fear of contracting HCV related blood diseases. This could be a good case. Call me at 1-888-243-0560 if you wish to discuss further.
