Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

My brother is currently the Executor of my parent's will. My father died in 2000, so now it's just my mother. I want to change the Executor of the will from my brother to me. How do I go about getting this done?

Mom will have to amend the will to change the name of the executor of her will.

Sounds like Dad's Will was never probated. That is a problem. You really need to talk to a good Wills and Probate attorney.
