Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Our mother (widow since 1987) has 11 living children and 3 decesed at childbirth, passed away on October 2006. Mother is the only one named on the clean deed for the house in question when she passed away. 7 kids agree to give it to one of our siblings, and 4 wants money from it. Mother left no will, how do we come to an agreement without it being so costly?

Not sure what you mean by "clean" deed.

If you haven't been able to settle this already, sounds like you are gong to have to spend some money. If the one you want to give the property can't buy out the other 4 you are going to have to try something more formal.

You might see if there is any kind of free or low cost mediation available in your area (or in the county where the property is located). You should talk to a good probate attorney in the county where the property is located to give you an idea of how much taking this before the probate court is likely to cost. You're going to need one to handle this anyway.
