'if you have been named in a trust do you have to be notified and if if not how do you find out about it' if much older siblings hid or destroyed a will and did not recognize me as an heir at time of fathers death 30 years ago. is there any recourse for me now or is there a statute of limitations

When you say "named" in a trust, I presume you mean as a beneficiary. Ideally, the trust document needs to be reviewed to give you the best advice. If you're just a beneficiary, you do not have to be notified until you actually are entitled to the money. Your second question requires a consult and more facts.
